The prints are evidence of an event that addresses the human body in absence. The paper serving as a conduit for a physical embrace. Afghan blankets serve as plates to transfer a direct impression of the woven textile to the paper through the printing press. The resulting object indexes the tactile event – analogous to a depth of touch or being held.
