Surface Contents
Surface Contents employs 14 karat gold dust in a series of actions, architectural interventions, and a site specific video for Portland Institute of Contemporary Art’s 2015 TBA Exhibition, Pictures of the Moon with Teeth. The resulting work hopes to form a dialogue that sees gold as literal index of locatable value and something ever-shifting in meaning and immense influence.
Surface Contents iterates from the TBA Exhibition focused from video and object installation to a series of silk prints that present a sequence of gold dust clouds. This series has been exhibited as part of an exhibition at the Museum of 500m in Sapporo Japan.
